it’s me, not you
Uncategorized November 12th, 2007We both know this isn’t working. I just don’t have the time to devote to a relationship like this right now. Surely you’ve seen the writing on the wall. I’m sorry. Really, it’s me, not you.
So yeah, things have suddenly become incredibly busy and stressful around here. Starting your own business is not for the faint of heart, or those who like to sleep. Just when I think I’m ready to launch, I’m given one more hoop to jump through. This week I start a 20 hour sanitation class which I get to pay $290 for! Isn’t that exciting? I do however, finally have all of my licenses and health inspections and am basically ready to start production in the commercial kitchen. Meanwhile, I’ve been busy developing a cookie bouquet line. Here’s a photo of the baby bouquet. Isn’t it cute?
I’m doing a sweetheart bouquet of roses next. I’m also working on my holiday line and coming up with marketing strategies and materials. And, I spend a fair amount of time pacing and trying not to hyperventilate. You think I’m kidding. Did I mention that the kids are on break and I’m doing this from home? Do you have any idea how many times a day three kids want to eat? Or just want my attention in general?
So that, dear readers is why I’ve been absent lately. I suppose if you’re willing to settle for less of me, we can try to work something out. We won’t be lovers like we were before. Not even good friends really. How about fond acquaintances?

What a funny, funny way to break up. And over the internet, at that. Maybe we could be friends.
